JWCC to Host Job Skills Awareness Day March 23

John Wood Community College will host a Job Skills Awareness Day Friday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the JWCC Workforce Development Center at 4220 Kochs Lane in Quincy.   The event is free and open to the public.  Reservations are required.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear professional speakers working in the following career fields:  business, computer technology, graphic arts, certified nursing assistant, surgical technology and truck driving.

Transportation will be provided to the Workforce Development Center from JWCC’s Kinscherff Center (122 North 5th) and Quincy campus (1301 S. 48th).  Lunch will also be provided.  The event is sponsored by the JWCC Perkins Career and Technical program.
