Evening Computer Classes Offered at JWCC Mt. Sterling Education Center


John Wood Community College’s Mt. Sterling Education Center is offering several computer classes this spring.  All classes will meet in the evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. with instructor Kris McCaskill.  Participants may register online at jwcc.edu/communityed/class-registration or by calling 217.641.4905.  Cost is $60 per class.

Advance Microsoft Word will meet March 5 and 12.  Participants will learn advanced features of Microsoft Word to improve office and personal skills.  Features covered include creating advance tables, linking Excel charts to Word documents and much more.

Introduction to Excel meets April 3 and 10.  Participants will learn the fundamentals of spreadsheets, including how to enter data, create formulas and charts and maintain files.

Introduction to PowerPoint meets May 1 and 8.  Participants will learn how to create a presentation to show to a group.  Features covered will include adding clip art, transitions and animations to create an interesting slideshow.
