John Wood Community College’s Heath Center Art Gallery will feature the artwork of faculty and staff through September 22. The gallery is located in the lower level of the Paul Heath Fine Arts and Community Education Center on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.
The display includes paintings, photography, ceramics, prints and other mixed media. Participating artists include: Peggy Burchard-Ballard, Carol Burns, Becky Butler, John Gebhardt, Pat Kerns, Robert Mejer, Carol Nichols, Addie Seabarkrob, Larry Siwek, and Sam Tedrow.
Other upcoming art shows scheduled for the Heath Center Art Gallery include the works of Sally Poole Kintz from October 2 to November 3, and works by Debra Scoggins Myers from November 13 to January 2, 2018. The art gallery will be participating in the Art Crawl, a community-wide event on Friday, October 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This will be concurrent with the JWCC Fall Concert. Refreshments and an artist talk will take place, and the event is open to the public.
The public is invited to view artwork during regular college hours (8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.) Some pieces are for sale. For more information about the Heath Center Art Gallery contact Addie Seabarkrob at email@example.com.
