JWCC to Present Fall Concert October 27
Audiences will be treated to a wide variety of vocal and instrumental selections performed by talented area students at John Wood Community College’s Fine Arts Department Fall Music Concert. The annual event is set for Friday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in the JWCC Paul Heath Center Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.
JWCC’s Concert Choir, Band and Vocal Show Ensemble will provide a showcase to appeal to all ages. Admission is $5.00 for adults. Students are admitted free of charge. Proceeds from the event will support the groups’ tours.
The concert will take place in conjunction with the Quincy Art Crawl reception taking place in the lobby of the auditorium from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The reception and exhibit are open to the public free of charge.
The concert choir and vocal show ensemble are under the direction of Dr. Steven Soebbing, JWCC instructor of music and theatre.
