JWCC Upcoming Art Exhibits to Feature a Variety of Works
John Wood Community College’s Heath Center Art Gallery will feature a group exhibit by the Generation Painters and the Rosebud Painters from March 5 to April 6. The gallery is located in the lower level of the Paul Heath Fine Arts and Community Education Center on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.
Oils, pastels and watercolors will be presented by the Generation Painters. The group is composed of Anita Little, Judy Emerick, Barbara J. Niewohner and Shirley Crank. China painting will be featured by the Rosebud Painters, which includes Barbara J. Niewohner, Angie Brown, Yvonne Franzen-Brown, Jane Baucom, Roseann Terwelp, Sandy Thompson and Viv Schwartz.
The public is invited to view the artwork during regular college hours (8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.). The Gallery will be closed on March 30. Some pieces are for sale. For more information about the Heath Center Art Gallery contact Addie Seabarkrob at firstname.lastname@example.org.
