JWCC Foundation Accepting Applications for Scholarship Funding

 The John Wood Community College Foundation is accepting applications for a variety of scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year. 

 Deadline for applications to be received in the JWCC Foundation office is Friday, March 1.

 Awards are for both general and program specific scholarships. New and continuing students may apply for most awards.  Some scholarships are for students with financial need, while others are restricted to students entering specific programs. Scholarships are also available for students demonstrating excellence in a selected area.

 Academic program scholarships are offered in selected areas, including accounting, computer science, nursing and health occupations, manufacturing and truck driver training.  Many general scholarships are also available.

 A listing of scholarships and an application is available at www.jwcc.edu/alumni-friends/scholarships .  The JWCC Advancement Office on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison, Southeast Education Center in Pittsfield and Mt. Sterling Education Center may also provide paper applications and a scholarship directory.
