Google Marketing for Non-Profits and Businesses to be Offered by JWCC

A Google Marketing class will be offered by John Wood Community College’s Business and Industry Training on Thursday, March 21, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. A grant from the Tracy Family Foundation is providing this class free to non-profit organizations. Businesses and the general public may also register for the class, at a cost of $50 per person. The class will take place at JWCC’s Workforce Development Center, 4220 Kochs Lane, Quincy.

Many small businesses and non-profits struggle to stay in front of potential customers and rise above the noise of competing products and services. This workshop will show participants how to use Google to showcase their local business, acquire customers ready to buy, and improve referrals. Attendees will learn about the free or low-cost tools and services Google offers for local businesses, and will see real-world examples of what’s working today. Participants will leave with a one-page checklist to jumpstart Google marketing efforts.
