JWCC Ag Alumni Sponsors Golf Outing Fundraiser
John Wood Community College’s Agriculture Alumni Association will host its 21st annual golf outing Friday, July 12, at Arrowhead Heights Golf Course in Camp Point IL.
The 18-hole, four person scramble, flighted-competition will begin with registration from 11 to 11:45 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at noon. The cost is $260 per team, with option to participate in skins as a team at an additional $40 cost. The registration fee includes golf with 2 mulligans per person, green fees, cart and a pork chop meal.
Tournament and hole sponsors are also welcomed to assist with the fundraising activity. Tournament sponsors could provide supplies for goody bags. Hole sponsorship is $100.00 donation for a sign with company or sponsor logo.
The event is both a social gathering and the primary fundraiser for the association. The funds from the event are used to help support the JWCC Agricultural Sciences program by hosting the Invitational Livestock Judging Contest and Ag Sciences Open House. The alumni also provide direct support to students by providing scholarship awards, sponsoring Ag Club events, PAS Team and Livestock Judging Team and Women Changing the Face of Agriculture activities.
