John Wood Faculty and Staff Art Show Begins September 3rd
John Wood Community College’s Heath Center Art Gallery will feature the artwork of faculty and staff September 3 through 27. The gallery is located in the lower level of the Paul Heath Fine Arts and Community Education Center on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.
The display will include paintings, photography, prints and other mixed media by local artists, including work from Peggy Burchard Ballard, John Gebhardt, Robert Mejer, Larry Siwek, Sam Tedrow, Jenna Seaborn and Steven Soebbing.
Other upcoming art shows scheduled for the Heath Center Art Gallery include the works of Gary Butler in Retrospective from October 8 to November 1. The art gallery will be participating in the Art Crawl, a community-wide event on Friday, October 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Refreshments and an artist talk will take place, and this event is open to the public.
