JWCC Foundation to Host Wine Pull Fundraiser for Student Support
The John Wood Community College Foundation will host a Wine Pull fundraiser Thursday, September 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Quincy Country Club.
Tickets are on sale now to continue the tradition of this popular community event. Proceeds will support JWCC students. The cost is $50 per person, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, carving stations and desserts. A cash bar will be available.
The evening will feature exquisite wines, extraordinary food, music, friendship, and the fun element of a Wine Pull, which is a drawing for a bottle of surprise wrapped wine. Guests can purchase a cork to then “pull” a bottle wine from the rack. Each pull costs $25 or two pulls may be purchased for $40. Wines that are pulled will range in value from $15 to $100 or more.
