JWCC to Host 50 Colleges and Universities for the Tri-State Regional College Fair
John Wood Community College will host the Tri-State Regional College Fair on Thursday, October 17, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Activity Center, located at 48th and Harrison in Quincy. The event is free, open to the public and hosted in conjunction with Quincy University and area high schools.
The Tri-State Regional College Fair is a college fair designed to give high school students the opportunity to learn about a wide array of college options. Representatives from more than 50 colleges in six states will be on hand to meet with area high school students and their parents. JWCC courses transfer to all of the four-year universities participating in the fair.
Colleges and universities participating in the fair include Barnes-Jewish College, Goldfarb School of Nursing, Bradley University, Colorado Mesa University, Columbia College of Missouri, Concordia University Chicago, Culver-Stockton College, Dominican University, Drake University, Eastern Illinois University, Eckerd College, Eureka College, Ferris State University, Fontbonne University, Greenville University, Hannibal LaGrange University, Illinois College, Illinois State University, Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Illinois Wesleyan University, Institute of Aviation at Parkland College, Iowa Wesleyan University, John Wood Community College, Knox College, Lincoln Christian University, Lindenwood University St Charles, MacMurray College, McKendree University, Midwestern University, Millikin University, Missouri Southern State University, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Missouri Western State University, Monmouth College, Northern Illinois University, Quincy University, Ranken Technical College, Robert Morris University, Saint Louis University, SIUE School of Pharmacy, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, St. Ambrose University, St. John's College of Nursing, State Technical College of Missouri, Truman State University, University of Arizona, University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Illinois Springfield, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, University of Missouri-St. Louis, University of Northern Iowa, Vincennes University, Webster University, West Point, Western Illinois University and Westminster College.
