JDUB Day Provides High School Juniors the JWCC Experience

Area high school juniors will be given an opportunity to explore the Quincy campus of John Wood Community College during the school’s JDub Day on Friday, April 8, from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.  JDUB for Juniors is a great way to kick-off the college search at JWCC.

During the event, students will hear from current students and alumni, learn about starting the college search process, and cost saving opportunities at JWCC. Participants will sit-in on a sample class and experience student life at JWCC.  Program interest breakout sessions include Healthcare, Hands-On Careers, Undecided and Transfer/Start a Bachelor’s. Prizes for the best photos using #JDUBDAY2022 and one lucky Junior will win a laptop.  A free lunch and t-shirt will also be provided.

Registration is required to attend. Students are encouraged to check with their high school counselor to use an excused visit day. For more information or to register, call 217-641-4337, or register online at www.jwcc.edu/jdub.
