JWCC Offering Mastering Microsoft Teams Class on October 5

A Mastering Microsoft Teams class is being offered by John Wood Community College Business and Industry Training on Tuesday, October 5, from 9am to noon. The class is open to the public and no application is necessary.  Individuals are required to make a reservation to attend. The class will take place at JWCC’s Workforce Development Center, 4220 Kochs Lane, Quincy.

This hands-on workshop will allow participants to get comfortable using Microsoft Teams to Meet, Collaborate and get things done remotely. Topics covered include creating and managing Teams, adding external users and limitations, organizing and communicating with Channels, Chat and custom tabs, hosting Ad-hoc and scheduled meetings, screen sharing and calling, and meeting tips for working remote. The course will also include what’s new for 2021, including Live Events, breakout rooms and more.

The course will be presented by Andrew Skattebo with BrickStreet Data Systems. Participants will be asked to wear face coverings and social distancing will be maintained. The cost is $75 per person.
