The Road to NASA Started at JWCC

After doing the math, Sebastian Francis knew it was an easy decision. "I saved $80,000 Sebastian Francis, engineering JWCCon my education in the first two years alone," the 2012 engineering grad said. "My professors were tough--but I knew they were doing their job when Purdue made an exception to allow me to join their program in the third year."

Sebastian started as a junior in aerospace engineering at Purdue. He credits the rigorous classes and solid foundation from John Wood in helping him get there.

Francis quickly made connections and landed an internship with NASA- his dream job. After alternating semesters between Purdue and NASA, he graduated and now works for NASA as a Trajectory Operations Officer.

Success starts at JWCC!
