Classes to start January 20
The College is currently closed as our employees are enjoying the holiday season with their families and will reopen January 5th at 8am.
While the college is closed, please remember there are still a few items you can do to be prepared for the start of classes on January 20th.

TRANSCRIPTS- Request transcript from your high school or GED transcript from regional office of education. Many schools have online request forms. Send copy to transcripts@jwcc.edu
College Transcripts (if applicable): Request transcripts from any college you have attended. College transcripts must be sent from your college directly to JWCC. Electronic transcripts preferred.
FINANCIAL AID – File the FAFSA application to see if you qualify for state and federal grants (that don’t have to be paid back) to help pay for college costs (this also qualifies you for educational loans). For classes starting in January, you will want to complete the 2025-26 FAFSA application. (use your 2024 tax information) It can take 5 days to process, so complete this step as soon as possible. Have you already completed the admissions process at JWCC and ready to register for classes?
Academic advisors will have walk-in appointments to available starting January 5th. Stop by campus or call 217.641.4355.
Main Campus will have extended hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – noon on Friday from January 12th-21st. JWCC will be closed for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on January 19th.
