Detour Directions
Please be advised that due to road construction south of 48th & State, an alternative route will need to be used to arrive at JWCC. See alternative routes and interactive maps below.
From the West or Downtown Quincy:
- Take Broadway (IL-104) east to 36th Street.
- Turn right (south) on 36th Street.
- Continue south to the intersection with Harrison Street.
- Turn left (east) on Harrison Street.
- Follow Harrison straight to 48th Street.
- The main entrance to JWCC is located at the intersection of 48th & Harrison. Turn in and follow signs for parking.
From the East Side (east of 48th or near 60th):
- Take IL-336/I-172 south.
- Exit at IL-96 (south of Quincy) and head north toward Quincy.
- At 48th Street, turn right (east) (less than one mile).
- 48th Street curves to the north. Continue north on 48th Street until you reach Harrison Street.
- The main entrance to JWCC is at the 48th & Harrison intersection. Turn right into campus.
From the South (Marblehead, Payson Road, or areas south of Quincy):
- Travel north on IL-57 through Marblehead until you reach 24th Street/County Road 675N.
- Turn right (east) onto 24th Street/County Road 675N.
- Continue on 24th Street until you reach Payson Road.
- Turn right (east) on Payson Road.
- Continue east on Payson Road until you reach 48th Street.
- Turn left (north) onto 48th Street for approximately 1.0 mile.
- Just before the intersection of 48th & Harrison, look for the main entrance to JWCC on your right.
From the North (Mendon, Coatsburg, or I-172/IL-336 corridor):
- Take IL-336/I-172 south toward Quincy.
- Exit at IL-96 and turn north (right) on IL-96 toward Quincy (do not take the Broadway exit but go past it to the next exit south).
- At 48th Street, turn right (east) (less than one mile).
- 48th Street curves to the north. Continue north on 48th Street until you reach Harrison Street.
- The main entrance to JWCC is at the 48th & Harrison intersection. Turn right into campus.
