CFL Quincy Quarter Madness

On behalf of current and future College for Life students, you are invited to participate in the Quincy Quarter Madness event!

100% of the proceeds go to CFL scholarships.  If you are interested in helping:

1. Attend the event, buy a paddle, bid on some items, and have a good time!  Kiwanis Quarter Madness will be on Thursday, October 1, at 6:00.  Location is Twin Oaks Club, 2707 Bonansinga Dr in Quincy.
2. Attend the event and volunteer to help.  We are responsible for 5-7 volunteers to scurry around and collect quarters during bidding!
3. Donate.  The group receiving the earnings is responsible for bringing in some items.  It is recommended that we gather about 20ish items, the majority being under a $40 value, as cheaper items tend to get more bidders. Here is how the pricing goes:

$1-$20 = 1 quarter bid
$21-$40 = 2 quarter bid
$41-$60 = 3 quarter bid
$60+ = 4 quarter bid

Kiwanis Organizers note that gift cards always go over well, as well as holiday-type items. One of the most popular items ever was a salad spinner from the dollar store with crinkled up $1 bills💵 in it… feel free to get creative or group together to donate.  Please bring donated items to D124 (the Adult Ed/Community Ed common area) by September 18.
