$10Want to get off campus and experience an amazing cultural festival? Join Student Belonging and TRIO for an exciting day trip to Iowa on Saturday, October 3rd!
We will start the day with a visit to Iowa State University in Ames, where we will tour campus and learn more about what ISU has to offer. Afterward, we will head to Panda Fest, an Asian cultural festival featuring delicious food, art, music, and vibrant traditions from across Asia. (Learn more about Panda Fest by clicking here.)
Trip Details:
- Date: Saturday, October 3rd
- Meet at JWCC: 6:45 AM
- Depart JWCC: 7 AM
- Iowa State University: 11 AM – 12:30 PM
- Panda Fest: Approximately 1 – 4 PM
- Return to JWCC: Around 8 PM
- Transportation: Provided
- Festival admission: Provided
- One meal: Provided
- Student deposit: $10
- The $10 deposit is required to hold your spot. After you RSVP (HERE), please visit the Business Office or call 217-641-4211 to pay your deposit. Your deposit will be returned to you the morning of the festival to use however you’d like!

It is going to be a long but FUN day, so wear comfortable shoes and come ready for an adventure!
