John Wood Community College to Host State University Transfer Day
QUINCY, Ill. — John Wood Community College will host State University Transfer Day on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the JWCC Library, providing students an opportunity to meet directly with representatives from Illinois public universities.
The event is designed for current JWCC students who plan to transfer to Illinois state universities. University representatives will be available to discuss transfer pathways, academic programs, admissions requirements, and next steps after completing coursework at JWCC.
Universities attending State University Transfer Day include:
- Eastern Illinois University
- Illinois State University
- Southern Illinois University Carbondale
- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
- University of Illinois Springfield
- Western Illinois University
TRIO Student Support Services will also be available during the fair to assist students with completing transfer applications.
JWCC Student Life will host a complimentary dirty soda bar for students during the event.
State University Transfer Day is free and open to all current JWCC students. No registration is required.
