JWCC to Present Holiday Concert December 1

Audiences will be treated to a wide variety of holiday vocal and instrumental selections at John Wood Community College’s Fine Arts Department Holiday Music Concert.  The annual event is set for Friday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the JWCC Mary Ellen Orr Auditorium on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.

JWCC’s Concert Choir, Band and Vocal Show Ensemble will perform a stunning array of traditional holiday pieces and captivating scenes from beloved musicals. This event promises to be a heartwarming musical journey through the festive season, featuring the exceptional talents of the college’s students. Admission is free of charge. Monetary donations will be accepted at the door with proceeds going to support students’ musical tours and activities.

The concert choir and vocal show ensemble are under the direction of Dr. Steven Soebbing and the band is under the direction of Jessica Snider.
