 JWCC Workforce Development Center offering Forklift class

 John Wood Community College Workforce Development Center will offer a Forklift class on Wednesday, April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The class is open to the public, no application is necessary, but individuals are required to make a reservation to attend. The class will take place at JWCC’s Workforce Development Center, 4220 Kochs Lane, Quincy.

This course consists of classroom and hands-on training. The classroom portion covers general forklift safety, forklift statistics and incident review and the most common forklift mistakes. The hands-on training prepares the participant to operate a forklift safely and competently.

The cost is $75 per person. Participants are required to wear face coverings and social distancing will be maintained. For more information on these classes or to register, contact the Workforce Development Center at 217-641-4971 or email wdc@jwcc.edu.
