JWCC Offering Free Self-Paced Online Courses to the Public

John Wood Community College’s Community Based Outreach is offering 10 free self-paced online courses to the public. There is no cost, but registration is required.

The free courses include a mix of hard and soft skills that apply to today’s changing job market. The classes will provide skills necessary for both job seekers and those currently employed.

Classes available include Creating Web Pages, Creating WordPress Websites, Fundamentals of Supervision and Management, Twelve Steps to a Successful Job Search, Keys to Effective Communication, Managing Customer Service, Marketing Your Business on the Internet, Personal Finance, Small Business Marketing on a Shoestring and Individual Excellence.

To register for a free class, visit jwcc.edu/cbo/online-courses-certificates. Click on the Ed2Go logo, and in the search bar type the word “free.” Classes must be registered on or before June 30. 2020.
