JWCC Registration for True Turnover Costs: Create Your Strategic Plan for Workforce Stability Lunch and Learn

John Wood Community College to host: True Turnover Costs:  Create Your Strategic Plan for Workforce Stability Lunch and Learn on September 22, from Noon to 2 p.m.  Presenter is Glenn Edwards with Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC).  The cost is $45 with lunch included.  The event is at the JWCC Workforce Development Center, 4220 Kochs Lane, Quincy.

Learn the hidden costs of employee turnover, and how to improve retention, satisfaction and your bottom line with a workforce strategic plan.

Attendees of the True Cost of Turnover Lunch and Learn will learn how much it costs to hire, train and then lose an employee. This session will outline the key elements of a strategic plan that focuses on:

  • Determine the true cost of turnover
  • Identify your ideal applicant and understanding their expectations
  • Brand your company to appeal to ideal applicants
  • Retain the team you develop
  • Build a plan for training and employee engagement
  • Develop a culture that values your employees
