JWCC VIP Red Carpet Open House for Prospective Students

John Wood Community College is offering students and the general public an opportunity to learn more about the college process with two free open houses on Wednesday, July 7 and July 21, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Quincy campus, located at 1301 S. 48th Street.

JWCC is rolling out the red carpet for our prospective students. “Students looking to attend college may be overwhelmed with the process,” said Tracy Orne, JWCC dean of students and enrollment management. “We want to help high school students and adults find the path to their next step.”

John Wood staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding the admissions process, advising and registration for classes, career exploration, Smart Start for high school students, payment options and more. The College will also help students and parents file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students and parents both will need to bring their 2019 taxes to complete the FAFSA.

“This is a great way to visit campus, whether you are just getting started and have lots of questions or if you are ready to register for the fall semester – we are here to help,” Orne added.

Fall classes begin on August 16, 2021. No reservations are necessary to attend. For more information, call or text 217-393-8400.  Visit jwcc.edu/admissions.
