Truck Driver Training Class to Begin June 29

John Wood Community College will be offering a Truck Driver Training program beginning on Monday, June 29th at the Workforce Development Center, located at 4220 Kochs Lane in Quincy.

The class will meet in person adhering to social distancing guidelines at the WDC Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for seven weeks plus a one-week pre-session. Students will learn on industry standard equipment and all courses are certified by the Professional Truck Driver Institute. Area truck driving firms are hiring, and some may fund tuition costs.

JWCC is open for business and taking appointments for those interested in the TDT program or other classes for the upcoming fall semester. The College also offers a 16-credit hour, financial-aid eligible Logistics/Truck Driver Training certificate, as well as an online 8-week class.
