Associate Professor of Fine Arts, teaches the Introduction to Drawing, Art Appreciation and Advanced Drawing classes.
Addie Seabarkrob has degrees from Doane College in Nebraska and Western Illinois University and has completed further study at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, National Louis University and Illinois State University.
Seabarkrob developed the Graphic Design program as a vocational regionally accredited program at Highland Community College in Freeport, Illinois. Professional experience includes work in printing, publishing, graphic design, advertising and serving as editor of WomanSpeak magazine. Graphic Design, Art Direction and Account Management experience were at Grayson-Bernard Publishing, Media Development, Pixel Place, CompuType as well as corporate clients including HON, Bandag, Kent Feeds, Stanley Engineering and others.
Seabarkrob is active as an exhibitor and adjudicator throughout the area and has served as associate faculty at Quincy University.
Jennifer Bock-Nelson has degrees from Houghton College, NY and Northern Illinois University. Bock-Nelson teaches 2D Design and Painting classes at JWCC.
Bock-Nelson is the artist behind the City of Quincy downtown mural completed in 2013, the murals at the Quincy Public library completed in 2012 and the mural at The Kroc Center, completed in 2011. Bock-Nelson was awarded Best of Show in the Mary S. Oakley Area Artists Showcase in 2012 and 2014, and the Best of Show from the 2014 Midsummer Arts Exhibition in Quincy, Illinois.
Bock-Nelson has taught at Quincy University, Quincy Art Center, Culver-Stockton College, Judson College and Northern Illinois University. Bock-Nelson has been published and provided cover art for many publications. Bock-Nelson is an active exhibitor and adjudicator, and has been awarded scholarships, grants and residencies as well.
