Do you want to earn your GED or improve your skills in Reading or Math?

Getting your GED can put you on the path to your career goals.  GED graduates are more likely to be employed and earn more than people without a GED or high school diploma.

FREE GED preparation classes are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings at various locations throughout the JWCC district. Participants are first assessed for placement; then work at their own pace with instructor assistance. Practice tests are available to help determine when the student is ready to take the GED Exam.  Instructional materials are loaned to students in the program without charge.

New students are enrolled in classes after attending an orientation session.
Orientation sessions are held monthly August through April.  Classes are finishing for this school year and new classes will start in August.

Complete the GED Class Interest Form on this page or give us a call to start classes beginning August 21, 2017.  We will give you a call or email to set up an orientation date prior to beginning  classes.

If you need help improving your reading or math skills, our Literacy program may be able to help.  Trained volunteer tutors meet weekly with students to provide free and confidential assistance.

Do you need help finding a job or deciding on a career once you have your GED?  Our staff can help you look at career options including earning a college degree or certificate.
