Job description

This position is responsible for payment collection, manually reviewing all remittance information from customers and matching the payment to the appropriate invoices to make sure the payment is in the system correctly.


  • Process and reconcile accounts receivables and remittances.
  • Make sure that the general ledger accounts tie to the entering of cash receipts.
  • Address payment issues like double payments and other discrepancies
  • Engage in collection management processes as necessary



· Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Proficient with computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to organize, maintain records, prioritize task and meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and negotiating skills.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

· Ability to work independently with critical thinking skills and exercise sound judgment.

· Motivated problem-solver with accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail


An advanced degree in the field of Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred. Associates Degree Required
