Illinois Crop Improvement Association was formed in 1922 as the unbiased authority for seed certification and grain quality analysis in the state of Illinois.
Illinois Crop Improvement Association is looking for seasonal field inspectors for August-October 2020 in Adams and Hancock counties.
Duties include visiting soybean fields and checking for stand quality and purity issues, recording findings, and reporting back to Illinois Crop Improvement.
Inspectors are based out of their homes and receive their work orders from the home office in Champaign, IL.
Requirements are reliable transportation, organizational skills, willingness to be outdoors, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
No experience necessary, training will be provided. Hourly wage covers time inspecting fields, time spent in classroom training, time spent in field training, time spent completing and mailing paperwork, and all other work-related duties. Mileage reimbursed for all work-related trips.
