We’re hiring for an Infrastructure Support Technician. This position is responsible for the support of all warehouse and office technology devices at the Louisiana, MO facility. These include but are not limited to: PCs (desktops/laptops), printers, print servers, hand scanners, wireless devices, and telephones.

A successful person in this role will possess technical, communication, and organization skills and will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a productive team member. This position will be expected to maintain all systems per established IT policies.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide software desktop support
  • Perform hardware maintenance and support (desktop, laptop, printers, etc.)
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure systems remain in good working order
  • Provide front line responses to all technical inquiries, when possible
  • Respond to user requests through the ticketing system promptly
  • Elevate requests to higher-level support when needed
  • Support PC imaging process
  • Provide complete and thorough documentation for all support issues
  • Provide remote teammates with ‘hands-on’ assistance, when required
  • Where appropriate, create SOPs and other documentation for processes and procedures
  • Maintain physical inventory documentation
  • Provide Tier 1 telephone support, including creation and assigning of tickets to the proper queues
  • Maintain availability for after-hours emergency support as required
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Basic understanding of the Windows Operating System (Win7/Win10/Windows Server, etc)

  • Functional knowledge of Office365 products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Demonstrated proficiency executing commands via the command line
  • Fundamental knowledge of security and best practices (removal/prevention of malware, etc.)
  • Network cabling
