HVAC Installer / Technician

Job Description

Local family owned and operated heating and air conditioning company looking for full-time HVAC Installer / Technician.  Mostly residential work with some smaller commercial jobs. Applicant must have strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques and have proficiency in piping and electrical work related to HVAC systems.  Have familiarity with building codes and regulations.  Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues and make the necessary repairs.  Must have strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.  Applicant must be able to run emergency service calls on weekends on a rotating basis (twice a month).  Must keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least 5 years of experience in the HVAC field.  Pass a drug and criminal background check.  A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently but also to be a part of a team. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.  Salary based on experience.
