Part-Time Campus Police Officer

Job Description

This is a part time, non-board approved position that reports to the Campus Police Sergeant and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois.  Position begins immediately.

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of campus police services to the campus community. This includes but is not limited to responding to emergencies, crime prevention, detection, investigation, special event security, and customer service. This position maintains a knowledge of and enforces all local, state, and federal laws as well as Board of Trustees policies. In addition, this position will maintain a working knowledge of campus buildings and grounds including locations of utilities, alarms, and all other safety equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a High School Diploma; prefer an Associate Degree and experience in law enforcement or other related experience.  Must be State of Illinois certified police officer.
