Job Description

Police Officer Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• No felony convictions
• No residency required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• 21 to under 35 years of age as of test date, June 8, 2024, unless otherwise exempt by IL State Statute
• Candidates must provide a valid POWER test card dated on or after November 13, 2023, and must also be able to pass the POWER test upon entrance into the police academy
