Job Overview
Dedicated, ambitious and experienced Food Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in kitchen management and food preparation. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a staff of 15+, ability to be profitable, ensure high-quality food production, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
• Supervise staff and ensure efficient workflow during food preparation and service.
• Maintain high standards of food handling and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative menus that meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
• Monitor food production processes to ensure quality control and consistency in all dishes served.
• Train and mentor staff on proper kitchen techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• Develope future leaders
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and facilities to ensure they are well-maintained and operational.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen management principles.
• Proven experience in supervising staff and managing food service operations effectively.
• Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food production and presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Familiarity with P&Ls is a plus.
