The Role

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our team of experienced engineers on various projects related to the function of the foundry. You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world problems, develop technical skills, and contribute to the success of our projects. Responsibilities include supporting the engineering team with tasks spanning all aspects of workflow, maximizing team productivity, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to overcome technical challenges and meet project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support Engineering team with tasks relating to all aspects of the teams workflow.
  • Maximize team productivity and deliver professional integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and achieve project goals.
  • Knowledge of all relevant best practices and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure work tasks are completed on time.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pursuit of certificate, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.

Physical requirements

Must have full range of body motion.  Certain operations require repetitive bending, squatting and full arm extension.  Manual lifting, not exceeding fifty (50) pounds may be required.  Able to visit various manufacturing environments.
