Job Description

The Quincy Kroc Center is seeking qualified candidates to help monitor and lead activities in our Kroc Academy After-School Program, School’s Out Day Camp, Camp Kroc (summer) and special events at the Kroc Center.  Help kids engage in tasks and games designed to promote analytical thinking skills, assist with spiritual formation and connecting them to spiritual opportunities, and assist them in relationship building (working with others to resolve conflicts, encourage cooperation, etc.).  This job will help you develop excellent skills and techniques that can benefit you in both your personal life and in future careers in child development.

Job Duties:

  1. Provide building blocks of healthy development for youth through the infusing of Search Institute’s 40 Developmental assets into programming and daily interaction.
  2. Provide safe transportation to and from local sites (schools, play centers, parks, etc.) using Salvation Army vehicles.
  3. Work with the Youth Development & Outreach Coordinator to help develop leadership skills in students through interaction and training opportunities.
  4. Assist with spiritual formation in students by building relationships and connecting them to spiritual opportunities.
  5. Display integrity, enthusiasm and sound moral judgment. Promote positive family relationships.  Work to help both parents and youth view the Kroc Center as a safe area for youth and a place to turn in time of need.
  6. Assist with implementation and coordination of both daily and weekly activities

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Drivers License required.

Experience:  Must be 18 years of age.  Experience working with students is preferred.
