Position: Lifeguard
Hourly Rate: $15 per hour
Location: Quincy Country Club
Type: Part-time/Full-time
Job Overview:
As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all swimmers and patrons in and around the pool area. You will monitor activities, enforce pool rules, and respond quickly to any emergencies. This position requires excellent swimming skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor pool area to ensure the safety of swimmers.

Enforce pool rules and regulations.

Respond promptly to emergencies, performing water rescues, CPR, and first aid as necessary.

Maintain a clean and organized pool area.

Attend all required training and certification courses.

Assist in the scheduling and promotion of swim lessons for all ages and skill levels.

Ensure pool equipment is in working order and report any issues to management.

Help patrons with basic swimming inquiries and offer guidance for improving swimming techniques.
Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old (or as required by local regulations).

Current certification in Lifeguarding or willingness to obtain

Strong swimming abilities and a good understanding of water safety.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
