JWCC and Workforce Innovation Board of Western Illinois Hosting an Open House for Accelerated Welding Program February 8

Earn your Welding Certificate in a little as 14 weeks!

John Wood Community College will host an open house on Wednesday, February 8, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at JWCC’s Workforce Development Center, 2710 North 42nd Street, Quincy. The open house is free and is for anyone interested in getting started with welding.

This accelerated welding program is two weeks shorter than the standard time frame. Individuals will earn their welding certificate in 14 weeks and be job ready. Qualified individuals will receive funding for tuition, mileage, welding kits, books and internships paid for through Workforce Innovation and Opportunity (WIOA) Act.
