JWCC Closing for Winter Recess

All offices and classrooms at John Wood Community College will be closed for winter recess Wednesday, December 22, 2021 and reopening on Monday, January 3, 2022. This schedule includes the campus in Quincy and all other centers and offices in Quincy, Mt. Sterling, Baylis and Pittsfield, as well as all JWCC classes offered throughout the area.

While the college is closed, students may still begin or continue the admissions process online at www.jwcc.edu/winter-break/.  Most Spring semester classes begin the week of January 10.  A 12-week course session begins February 7.

JWCC collaboratively creates innovative and relevant academic and training programs with business leaders to educate young people and the workforce for today's needs and tomorrow's opportunities. JWCC has centers in Quincy, Pittsfield, Baylis and Mt. Sterling, Illinois. Programs include a comprehensive baccalaureate transfer curriculum, customized business training, career/technical degrees, certificates, and personal enrichment courses.
