- For extracurricular events hosted by John Wood Community College, the person needing the accommodation must contact the coordinator of the event two weeks in advance prior to the event to request an accommodation.
- The coordinator of the event will then contact the Coordinator of Disability Services to report the request not less than one week prior to the event.
- As the accommodation is deemed reasonable, both the coordinator of the event and Coordinator of Disability Services will work together to obtain a reasonable accommodation, academic adjustment, and/or auxiliary aid for the student in the activity and facility.
- The department hosting the event will be responsible for monetary costs and in completing the process for payment of the services.
